HAGE3D goes China – Business launch led to first sales

Precise, large-volume industrial 3D printers are of course also in demand in Asia. Since last year, HAGE3D had been in cooperation talks  that led to a cooperation with HuaRong at the end of the year. The 3D full service supplier already cooperates with Markforged, Stratasys and Renishaw or offers 3D services on these machines, which makes HuaRong a well-established partner. The agreement envisages the sale, local service as well as the service on HAGE3D machines.

At the TCT Asia, which took place from 21.02. – 23.02.2019 in Shanghai, HAGE3D and HuaRong have had a very successful, first market apperance. The stand with the HAGE3D 175X attracted much attention and made the fair a very successful event for HAGE3D and HuaRong. Even the Chinese TV interviewed HAGE3D CEO Thomas Janics, who also held a lecture at the fair.

“From our point of view, the market structure of China is a logical further development of HAGE3D. Of course, China, as a continuously growing economic region, is the largest target market in Asia. The Asian share of the world market, which is relevant for us, is significant at around 25%. Our activities focus on the local automotive market around Shanghai as well as the aviation industry. With HuaRong, we have a leading partner in the local market, which can also provide customer proximity with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong,” stated Thomas Janics.
