From March 14 to 15, the 3rd ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM took place in Berlin. This years focus was strong user-oriented and the programme united many industries from different fields. The forum can be seen as one of the most important meetings for deciders in the DACH area. The forum was supported by the founding partners Airbus Group, Deutsche Bahn, Stratasys, 3yourmind as well as by ‘Berlin Partner for Business and Technology’. The aim of all actors was and is to promote additive technologies and to expand their possible application fields.

Due to the great know-how in the field of indirect metal printing, HAGE3D was invited as a participant in the high-quality panel discussion on “Metal Printing – From Component Determination to the Selection of Appropriate Technology”. Together with other experts, Matthias Katschnig discussed the issues of quality assurance, technology selection, employee training and costs. Especially the advantages of indirect metal printing, which are expressed in particular in the material openness, the elimination of different powder problems (powder change!) and the low process costs were explained by Katschnig.
